Discussion will be on these three questions:
What one thing about 2CC is so important to you that you would not want to lose it? What one thing would you like to see incorporated in or added to 2CC? In what new ways will we be changing lives in the next one to five years?

First Wednesday Fellowship LunchesNext luncheon is Wednesday April 7th. Mark you calendars, come and join friends for lunch, conversation, and companionship in Webster Hall. Lunch is provided by the Deacons and other congregation members.
There is a sign up sheet in Webster Hall (on the same board with the Sunday Supper sign ups) if you would like to bring a pot of soup, a plate of sandwiches or a dessert for April or future luncheons. Please contact Lorna at 447-1383 with any questions.
Lent 2010 at Second Congregational ChurchWednesdays throughout March, 5 p.m – Evening Prayer– –a midweek opportunity to be quiet and join with others in Taize chants, Scripture readings, and silence.
Sundays during Lent–10 a.m. Worship – Sermon series on “Disciplines of the Christian Faith,” including Fasting (2/21), Sabbath-taking (2/28), Reading for Meditation (3/7), Living in Community (3/17), and Discernment (3/21). Following worship (and some time for coffee and refreshment), there will be an opportunity to reflect on how these practices are working–or not–in our lives. (In the Clayton Room)
Daily Devotional– We still have copies of the UCC resource, “God is still speaking,...I am (s)training to hear...” If you didn’t get one (or can’t find yours) from last year, you’re welcome to pick one up on the “hutch” in the lobby. If you’re online, subscribe to the Stillspeaking Daily Devotional (free e-mail message every morning) at www.ucc.org/writers-group.

Mar. 28, Palm/Passion Sunday–We will experience “The Cry of the Whole Congregation” during our 10 o’clock worship.
April 1, Maundy Thursday, 6 p.m.–Agape Meal and Service of Communion and Tenebrae around the tables, Webster Hall.
April 2, Good Friday, noon - 3 p.m.–Vigil with readings and music in the Sanctuary. Suggestions for home/work observance
April 4, Easter Sunday–2 services: 8 a.m Easter Vigil with Communion and Renewal of Baptismal Vows; and 10 a.m. Worship with Choirs and Bells and Brass.
